Takes a minute. The more you tell us, the tighter the number when we arrive.

Photos help. Email them after you send this and we can often price it without a visit.

Before we arrive

  1. Keep people and pets away from the opening and pick up loose shards with gloves.
  2. Photograph the damage from inside and outside for insurance.
  3. Do not pull glass out of the frame. We remove it safely and take it away.
  4. If it is a break in, call the police first and get a report number.
  5. In winter, tape a garbage bag over the gap so the room holds heat until we board it.

Two foggy sealed units in a 1930s brick semi, done in one visit. They matched the Low-E and the rooms feel warmer already.
Daniel, Westdale
King Street storefront went in overnight. Boarded at 7pm, new lite by the next afternoon, one invoice.
Marisol, Downtown Hamilton
Patio slider pane. They told me the range on the phone and the final number did not move.
Tom, Ancaster
Old wood sash on a Dundas century home. They reglazed it instead of pushing a new window on me.

Emergency questions

How fast can you be here?

Most Hamilton emergency calls are boarded the same day. We give you an arrival window on the call, and we tell you if traffic up the Mountain access routes will push it later.

What does an emergency board up cost?

From $150, typically $150 to $350, plus an after hours amount depending on the time and the size of the opening.

When does the real glass go in?

Stock clear glass can go in the same day. Tempered and laminated units are made to order, usually two to five days, and the price is fixed before we order.

Do you replace tempered patio door glass in an emergency?

We secure the opening the same day, then fit the tempered pane once it is cut. Tempered glass cannot be cut on site by anyone.

Will you help with insurance?

Yes. We photograph the damage, itemise the board up and the glass separately, and send an invoice your insurer can process.

Do you charge to travel in Hamilton?

No travel fee anywhere inside Hamilton, including Dundas, Ancaster, Stoney Creek and Waterdown.
