Takes a minute. The more you tell us, the tighter the number when we arrive.

Photos help. Email them after you send this and we can often price it without a visit.

What it costs

From $200/ft

Typical range $200 to $400 per linear foot, installed, before tax.

What moves the price

  • height
  • hardware
  • tempered thickness

Prices are installed, before tax, glass or repair only. Access matters: upper floors, fixed units and anything needing two people adds time.

If the frame itself has failed, glass will not fix it. Window replacement vs glass replacement explains how to tell.

Fitted and cleaned up

Questions we get about this job

How long does it take?

Most visits are 60 to 90 minutes once the glass is on the truck. Measuring is a short first visit when we cannot get sizes from photos.

Can you do it the same day?

Stock sizes yes. Tempered, laminated and decorative glass is made to order, usually two to five days, and we board the opening in the meantime.

Do you take the old glass away?

Yes. Old glass and packaging leave with us and the sill is cleaned before we go.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Sealed units carry the manufacturer warranty and our workmanship is guaranteed. Call us if a seal ever gives you trouble.

Call before noon and stock glass goes in today.

If the unit is in stock we fit it the same day. If it is not, you get the date before we hang up, and the price does not move after that.

Recent work and reviews

Called at 9, glass was in by 2, and the price was the one on the website. No mess left behind.

Two foggy sealed units in a 1930s brick semi, done in one visit. They matched the Low-E and the rooms feel warmer already.

King Street storefront went in overnight. Boarded at 7pm, new lite by the next afternoon, one invoice.
Marisol, Downtown Hamilton
Patio slider pane. They told me the range on the phone and the final number did not move.
Tom, Ancaster
Old wood sash on a Dundas century home. They reglazed it instead of pushing a new window on me.

Kid put a ball through the back window. Boarded within two hours, new glass three days later as promised.
